Tow safe - communication and hand signals - video transcript
Narrator: If you're at the end of the line on a wakeboard, skis or even tube get to know the few basic hand signals. If you come off, hold your hands up in the air together to show you're okay. Next is the helicopter motion above your head to tell everybody you're turning around. Patting your head shows you want to go back to shore. And the thumbs up or down will change the speed. If you're the observer, tell the skipper straight away if the person being towed has fallen. Then keep watching them and raise your arm to let other water users know someone's in the water.
