Trailer boating - speed and wash - video transcript

Andrew 'ET' Ettinghausen: A powerboat in the right hands is great fun but at dangerous speeds or when making a lot of wash it can be a lethal weapon. Always travel at a safe speed for the conditions and keep a proper lookout. For example at night or with lots of other boats around slow down. And don't forget to look behind and regularly check your wash so you're not a nuisance or danger to others. If you're the skipper you're responsible.
