Have Your Say on the draft NSW Marine Estate Threat and Risk Assessment Report
You are invited to provide feedback on the draft NSW Marine Estate Threat and Risk Assessment report.
The Marine Estate Management Authority (MEMA) is requesting the public to provide feedback on the draft report, and in particular, on the evidence which is being used in the process.
Feedback will be received until Friday, 31 March 2017 via the online interactive tool on the marine estate website. Throughout February and March, MEMA will be hosting a series of community workshops to be held along the coast which will discuss the report.
Once all feedback is collected, the report will inform the ongoing management of the NSW marine estate and form the basis of a new 10-year Marine Estate Management Strategy, which will include the management of priority economic, social and environmental threats and risks. It will also be considered in the creation of new management plans, starting with the Solitary Islands and Batemans Marine Parks.
More information is available at the NSW Marine Estate website.
